Thank you for your votes of confidence, and support which will allow me to start the journey as your District Deputy Grand Master for Waterloo District.
I am humbled, to be elected to this high office, and fully aware of the fact that I am following in the footsteps of many experienced predecessors, but with their assistance, and your unwavering support, I am confident that all of us will have a very good year in Waterloo District.
Many of you attended the Long Range Planning seminar at Grand Lodge, which provided us with information to reflect upon, and apply in our lodges as required.
Our District is blessed, by the many well skilled and dedicated masons, who work tireless for the common good of masonry in their respective lodges, Waterloo district and Grand Lodge.
Some of these brethren have agreed to accept, and in some cases, continue as Chairmen of Committees to assist us in the implementation of the various programs, making the district outstanding and successful.
I, and many of you , have attended most of the MPM&W and Directors meetings in the last couple of years, we have carefully listened to the Flow of Ideas and Concerns presented by the brethren from the district.
Collectively, I will work closely with the Committee Chairmen and their Teams to apply this feedback to bring sustainable programs for us to improve our working tools on.
I take this opportunity, to thank all the brethren who have chosen to participate, by taking active roles, such as Committee Chairmen or Coordinators for Special Events in the district, without this support our Masonic Ideas and Plans would only be dreams. As so aptly stated in the Working Tool charge of the First Degree, the head may devise in vain, if the hand is not prompt to execute the design.
W.Bro Joseph Vliehs has graciously agreed to be the District Secretary, and he has already been a great help, in the preparations for the coming year.
Brethren, once again, I thank each one of you, for your interest and support of Masonry in General and Waterloo District in particular.
Thank You.
R.W. Bro. John Kroezen
